Dr. Summers is a Licensed Psychologist and Health Service Provider in Psychology who provides psychological assessment to individuals aged 6 years and older and psychotherapy to adolescents and adults.
Psychological Assessment
Her clinical interests include Autism and ADHD assessment, personality and diagnostic assessment, and helping patients better understand the factors affecting their emotional and interpersonal functioning. At the end of an assessment, patients should have a better understanding of how these factors impact their lives and recommendations for the next steps.
Psychotherapy
Her clinical interests include anxiety and mood concerns, trauma-related concerns, personality functioning, and adjustment and life transitions. Her therapeutic approach focuses on establishing a strong working relationship to provide a foundation for the therapy work. Previous training experience includes Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). In person and virtual appointments are available.
